BLS Spotlight: Congratulates Our Newest Doctor of Nursing Practice

Dr. Marshea Lewis-Gould

The Beta Lambda Sigma Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. proudly introduces and celebrates our newest graduate, Dr. Marshea Lewis-Gould, DNP, MSN, RN, CCHC C/E, who recently earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in Nursing Leadership from East Carolina University.

On July 9th, Dr. Lewis-Gould successfully presented her impactful process improvement project titled:

“Improving Active Shooter Preparedness in Childcare Settings: A Quality Improvement Project.”

Her work addresses the urgent need for proactive safety protocols in early childhood environments, demonstrating leadership, innovation, and a deep commitment to the protection and wellbeing of our youngest community members.

Dr. Lewis-Gould will formally walk across the graduation stage in December, marking a significant milestone in her professional journey—and we are honored to have her bring that excellence into our sisterhood.
